Shelter Technologies Inc

Shelter Technologies, Inc., is a division of United Concrete Products. United began producing septic tanks and precast stairs in 1954; its customers were mostly concentrated in a small area of Connecticut. The company now is considered an industry leader in precast solutions. It purchased Shelter Technologies, Inc., in 2012.

Shelter Technologies units are manufactured from 5,000 PSI steel-reinforced concrete. The walls and roof are cast together to give the shelters seamless strength, maximum security, all weather protection, and structural security. All ST shelters are designed to be maintenance free, vandal and weather resistant and to meet the demanding requirements of the telecommunications industry.

Shelter Technologies structures are found most often in telecommunications and utilities industries. They also are used in military, public works, parks and recreation, and transportation settings.
